100th Anniversary Exhibition

On 11^th November 1918, the same day of the end of the First World War, Georges Schaeren founded MIDO in the Swiss town Solothurn on. Time flies and a century has passed as the brand witnessed more significant moments in the course of history. Over the years, MIDO has set out its philosophy combining aesthetics, authenticity and functionality. The refined, understated designs of MIDO timepieces endow them with a resolutely timeless quality. To mark the 100^th anniversary of the brand, MIDO is holding the MIDO 100^th Anniversary Exhibition from Now to December 2018 with Oriental Watch Company, showcasing the Swiss watchmaker’s latest innovations. The world famous brand ambassador Robi will also make a special appearance in the exhibition to commemorate the occasion.

With a marquetry of 25 separate pieces of mother-of-pearl, applied by hand in an oval shape and surrounded by 51 diamonds, the Baroncelli Prisma is an extremely feminine piece of jewellery. The refined stainless steel case houses the latest generation automatic movement offering a power reserve of up to 80 hours.

Ocean Star M026.430.36.091.00 
The Ocean Star Caliber 80’s dial offers indexes filled with Super-Luminova and skeletonised hands. The indexes at 6 O’clock and 12 O’clock feature two points for easier readability in the water. This timepiece is water resistant up to 20 bar, with the case shape providing extra protection for the screw down crown. The screw down case back is engraved with the Ocean Star logo. Furthermore, the housed automatic movement has an autonomy of up to 80 hours.
