Freak Me Out VIP Dinner

On 28^th of June, 2018, Oriental Watch Company co-hosted a VIP dinner with the Swiss watchmaking brand Ulysse Nardin at the Aberdeen Marina Club to unveil the brand’s latest novelties. Mr. Chi Zhang, president of North Asia & Greater China of Ulysse Nardin, explained the history of the brand, creative concept and inspiration of the novelties to the guests. Among the grand selection, gems from the Freak collection effortlessly evoked rounds of rapturous applause, especially the Freak Out, which was not shown in SIHH. With a 45 mm case forged in titanium, the gates of Ulysse Nardin’s Freak universe are opened to a wider audience.

The boundless ocean has always inspired Ulysse Nardin’s equally illustrious creativity. Every nuance of the depths of the ocean inspires watchmakers of Ulysse Nardin to create a diverse range of excellent timepieces. To fully submerge the guests into the brand’s unique perspective, a virtual reality game was set up at the scene. To commemorate this visual journey, the guests were invited to take a photo next to the pop-up shark portrait, as a perfect reflection of the maverick and audacious Ulysse Nardin.
