neomatik Exhibition

From the 1^st of October – 31^st of December, German watchmaker NOMOS Glashütte collaborates with Oriental Watch Company to showcase the latest automatic series, neomatik.

Watches from the neomatik series are all equipped with the new in-house automatic movement DUW 3001, visible through the sapphire crystal glass back of all twelve models. It measures only 3.2 millimeters in height and was developed with the most modern research and production methods. DUW 3001 gives the models of the neomatik series a particularly slender and elegant form, and makes them capable of achieving chronometer-level accuracy—thus particularly precise.

NOMOS Glashütte also exhibited the luxurious Gold collection from the NOMOS Atelier: Lambda and Lux are haute horlogerie watches of exceptional elegance, crafted by hand with an incredible amount of effort and set in cases of 18 kt white and rose gold. Fine watchmaking of the finest hand-wound caliber is at the heart of these extravagant timepieces. Their calibers are visible through the lavish sapphire crystal glass back, presenting the traditional characteristics of a German movement: the swan neck fine adjustment, rhodium-plated three-quarter plate, blue steel screws and gold chatons. Particularly eye-catching is the hand-engraved balance cock featuring the inscription “Mit Liebe in Glashütte gefertigt” (“lovingly produced in Glashütte”).
