Gentlemen’s Bow-tie Handmade Workshop 2016-09-08 Following four years of success, Oriental Watch Company and The Hong Kong Jockey Club join hands again to present the Oriental Watch 55th Anniversary Sha Tin Trophy Gentlemen’s Bow-tie Raceday on 23rd October 2016. To echo the theme of “Embrace the Tradition, Empower the Future”, Oriental Watch Company has invited two teams of local designers to tailor-make eye-opening bow-ties using innovative materials. Wallflowers, one of the local design brand founded by post-90s local designers Mr. Emersion Shiu and Ms. Claire Lam had created the leather bow-ties in brown, black and red colour, adorned with hand-painted horses and watches in metallic painting that deliver a sense of elegance and nobility. Mr. Henry Leung, graduated from the renowned Catherine Muller Flower School in Paris, had created the unconventional Parisian bow-ties which using rarely fresh flowers to present gracefulness. Recently, we had organized a “Gentlemen’s Bow-tie Handmade Workshop” and invited the Medias to produce their unique bowtie by using their creativity. All of them enjoy the workshop.
