G-SHOCK celebrates its 40th anniversary and will hold a 40th Anniversary Limited Edition Watch Exhibition at the Oriental Watch Company Flagship Store in 50 Queen’s Road from now until June 30th. The exhibition showcases the Recrystallized series, which is evolved from the first G-SHOCK by incorporating stainless steel recrystallization and employing a deep-layer hardening process for the first time. GMW-B5000PG-9 features a gold ion plating treatment on the bezel and band, creating a brilliant golden shine. DW-5040PG-1 is an evolved model based on the first G-SHOCK DW-5000 that debuted in April 1983, biomass plastics are used in the bezel and band to reduce environmental impact. GMW-B5000PS-1's bezel and strap are treated with a titanium carbide (TiC) coating, creating a dazzling shine. All three watches are engraved with the G-SHOCK 40th anniversary logo designed by Eric Haze on the back, making them highly collectible.

This exhibition also features the newly launched MR-G FROGMAN diver’s watch MR-BF1000R-1A, which take the distinctive asymmetric form, screw-lock case back, and the signature icon of FROGMAN to a whole new level. MRG-BF1000R-1A is made up of over 70 exterior components with individual polishing processes applied prior to bring out stunningly attractive textures in them down to the finest details, including the O-ring waterproof sealing and buffers that strengthen the shock-resistant structure. This original construction maintains water resistance, a quality demanded of diver’s watches, while achieving a dignified form worthy of the MR-G line. The screw-lock case back is fit with sapphire crystal finished in vibrant blue vapor deposition and engraved with the iconic FROGMAN diving frog character, continuing the tradition of the FROGMAN series.
