2017 Exhibition

From July 1st to August 31st, a high-end Swiss Manufacture ZENITH will host its exhibition to display the 2017 Novelties - at Oriental Watch Flagship Store - Central QRC100, a series of new products including a Pilot Type 20 Extra Special Chronograph, Heritage 146 which is inspired by 1960s design, Chronomaster El Primero Grande Date Full Open - with its powerful build framing a clear view of its legendary mechanism, and a trendy new take on vintage Pilot Type 20 Extra Special 40mm etc.

During the exhibition, a real pool table is set.  It not only introduces our Global Ambassador – Mr Ding Junhui, but also displays ChronoMaster El Primero Open which accompanied with him every day.  We welcome the watch fans to visit the Oriental Watch Flagship Store in Central QRC100.

Pilot Type 20 Extra Special Chronograph

An imposing bronze case, a wide ratcheted easily adjustable crown, oversized luminescent numerals and a high-beat El Primero Calibre 4069: the new “Pilot” by ZENITH proudly flaunts the DNA of a line of airborne conquerors.

In 2017, this famous aviator’s watch with its distinctive design expresses its trailblazing style in chronograph mode. With its sandblasted black dial and its khaki green oily nubuck leather strap, it showcases a neo-retro look fuelled by an adventurous spirit. Exactly like that of the aviation pioneers that the Manufacture accompanied right from the early days of flight.

Heritage 146 Chronograph

ZENITH is presenting a new vintage series: the Heritage 146 chronograph inspired by a 1960s watch and now equipped with an El Primero 4069 automatic movement – 36,000 VpH.  It features a retro look, a tropical brown or blue dial, a 38 mm-diameter steel case and a column-wheel El Primero movement chronometer. Subtly reinterpreting an historical model, the Heritage 146 is a unique offering combining the best of the Manufacture’s past: design, history and true rarity.

Chronomaster El Primero Grande Date Full Open

With its powerful build framing a clear view of its legendary mechanism, the new Chronomaster El Primero Grande Date Full Open unveils the heart of performance and precision in the inimitable Zenith style. This self-winding skeleton-worked chronograph, equipped with a column wheel and a silicon escapement, is highlighted by a dial carved in sapphire. This modern architecture with its striking red accents is designed to be admired from both sides.

Spotlight on the high-frequency oscillations of El Primero Calibre 4047B! Equipped with 332-part movement drives central hours and minutes hands, along with small seconds, chronograph, large date, moon & sunphase functions, while maintaining an over 50-hour power reserve. The celestial kinetic ballet is shown on two superimposed discs, with the moon disc rotating every 59 days (two lunar cycles) and the day/night disc making one full turn in 24 hours.

Pilot Type 20 Extra Special 40 mm

An imposing presence and an adventurous temperament: ZENITH’s famous Pilot watch displays its vintage style on all wrists. In a new 40 mm case made from aged steel, its attributes inherited from aviation’s pioneering days – a broad fluted crown, oversized luminescent numerals, a grained dial and an in-house ‘motor’ – make an ideal match with the retro shades of the oily nubuck straps with contrasting stitching.  This distinctive and classy watch sets the seal on its trendy neo-retro look with choice of 4 colours in mustard, khaki, blue or burgundy.

At its heart beats the automatic Elite 679 calibre. This reliable and accurate in-house movement drives central hours, minutes and seconds hands, while delivering a 50-hour power reserve. In a nod to the history of the Maison, the solid aged steel case-back bears the company’s historical logo – a coat-of-arms studded with stars and bearing the founding date of the Manufacture Zenith: 1865.
