Montblanc 4810 ExoTourbillon Slim

Launching the 110th anniversary celebrations is a new Montblanc ExoTourbillon Slim timepiece, which combines the Maison’s patented ExoTourbillon complication with the addition of a quick stop-second function.  Launching the 110th anniversary celebrations is a new Montblanc ExoTourbillon Slim timepiece, which combines the Maison’s patented ExoTourbillon complication with the addition of a quick stop-second function.

The ExoTourbillon outperforms standard tourbillon constructions for two reasons. Firstly, the weight of the cage of the ExoTourbillon is disconnected from the balance wheel, and secondly, the weight of the cage is minimal, thus resulting in higher precision and improved isochronism.  The balance wheel with 9.7 mm in diameter also plays an important part in the performance of the timepiece. The Calibre incorporates a brand new micro-rotor decorated with a Côtes de Genève en Eventail motif and allows an uninterrupted view on the movement through a sapphire crystal case back, in comparison to a standard rotor that always hides half of the movement. The whole construction measures a mere 4.5mm in height, a feat in itself for a calibre of this complexity.

Quick stop-second function is made possible thanks to the construction of a whip. Optimal geometry and kinematics were studied in depth to find the right angle at the end of the whip, allowing the user to set the time to the exact second and ensure an immediate restart of the movement.

Montblanc 4810 Orbis Terrarum

Named after the Latin “Orbis Terrarum”, which translates as “globe”, “earth” and “world”, this timepiece tells the time in 24 timezones in an intelligent and intuitive way, thanks to a manufacture complication developed in-house by Montblanc’s master watchmakers.

The dial is constructed of multiple layers, starting with the main sapphire crystal disc that displays the continents as viewed from the North Pole and the names of the 24 cities representing the different timezones. The continents are cut out from the rest of the disc that displays the oceans in a light blue colour. A second sapphire crystal disc indicates the passing of day and night with a dark blue for the night and a gradient of yellow and green for the day. This disc also includes the 24-hour ring that indicates the different times in the 24 cities.

Montblanc Bohème ExoTourbillon Slim Jewellery

The Bohème ExoTourbillon Slim epitomizes the Bohème Spirit, combining sophistication, self-confidence and audaciousness. For the very first time, Montblanc is offering its patented ExoTourbillon automatic calibre MB M29.24 movement to the ladies, enabling the Bohème lady to elevate her feminine lifestyle to the pinnacle and beauty of fine Swiss watchmaking.

The one-minute ExoTourbillon took over three years of research & development to produce and comes with a quick stop-second mechanism and a micro-rotor that were both created entirely in-house with the utmost mechanical expertise by the master watchmakers at the Montblanc Manufacture in Switzerland.

The Montblanc Bohème ExoTourbillon Slim Jewellery has been paved with 144 Top Wesselton diamonds (~ 0.531 carat) and 58 Top-Wesselton diamonds (~1.39 carat) have been set into the bezel as well. A new 38mm red gold case size with a slim height of only 9.37mm are the perfect dimensions for an elegant feminine wrist.

Montblanc Bohème Day & Night

The Montblanc Bohème Day & Night was conceived as a companion to the Bohème lady combining timeless feminine elegance, functionality, respect for the utmost perfection of fine watchmaking and the highest aesthetic refinement. This new timepiece is defined by its romantic small complication and a characteristic Bohème guilloché dial crafted in the purest fine watchmaking style.

The unique day & night indication allows the wearer to know which part of the day or night it is precisely. The day is indicated through a sophisticated light blue and golden sun, while the night indication is represented in a warm dark blue decorated with a smiling golden moon adorned by stars. The automatic movement with its highly functional complication makes it possible to precisely set the sunrise and the sunset to match the corresponding time.

The elegant 30 mm stainless steel case - a new size in the Bohème collection designed to perfectly fit a lady’s wrist - features a bezel fully set with 62 top Wesselton diamonds.
