Maurice LacroixMaurice Lacroix unveils a new interpretation of its popular model, the PONTOS. Endowed with chronograph, day and date indications elements as bridges two seemingly disparate worlds, elegance and sport, and unites them to form a cohesive design befitting any occasion.

The PONTOS S Chronograph features a sandblasted dial. The hour and minute hands are partially openworked and lined with Super-LumiNova®. Facetted and applied indexes denote the hours, shining brightly with just the merest suggestion of light. Positioned between each index and the minute track, a rectangular-shaped soupçon of SLN augments readability in dim light conditions. While innovating Maurice Lacroix also retains the original iconic design elements of the collection, such as the elongated pushpieces and the distinctive double-stepped lugs. The case juxtaposes satin-brushed and polished surfaces, delivering contrast and the notable sense of style on 43 mm case.

This new version of the PONTOS Day Date is intended for an urban landscape, hence its blend of shades and shapes really stand out from the crowd. The dial decorated with sunray with sandblasted ring on the 41 mm stainless steel case, and its colors and shapes are very clever. The day is shown via an arcing aperture. It’s presented in white text atop a black disc, recessed but eminently clear. The hour and minute hands are lined with Super-LumiNova®, thereby augmenting readability.

Both new models with M-branded nylon strap with tone-on-tone stitching, reinforcing the model’s contemporary chick look for selection. It is also available with a 3-rows steel bracelet. Owners can modify the appearance of the watch courtesy of the Easy Strap Exchange system, swapping the strap for an alternative, without the need for tools.
