Oriental Watch Company Awarded "15 Year Plus Caring Company Logo" by The Hong Kong Council of Social Service

Oriental Watch Company has been awarded the "Caring Company" logo by the Hong Kong Council of Social Service for the 15th consecutive year since 2010. This recognition is a testament to the company's commitment to practicing corporate social responsibility and actively caring for the community, employees, and the environment.

This year, Oriental Watch Company continues to uphold its brand belief of "Take Your Time" by organizing a series of children's programs under the theme of “Make the time, Share the Joy” These programs aim to provide equal learning opportunities for children in Hong Kong, educate and encourage them through STEM education (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics), and foster their creativity and inventiveness by integrating these disciplines. The goal is to break away from traditional learning models and assist children in discovering and unleashing their potential during their growth stages. We have also established a dedicated volunteer team that actively engages in community events. By doing so, we aim to maximize our impact and lead our colleagues in sharing and taking the time spent with children.

Over the past year, Oriental Watch Company has been committed to reducing its environmental footprint. Through the joint efforts of Oriental Watch Company and HKCIN, co-organzed“Make the Time, Share the Joy" - New Life of Old Cardboard”. Company's volunteer team collaborated with primary school students to engage in eco-friendly recycling activities, such as collecting and repurposing "waste" materials like paper and soda cans, giving them a second life as new toys for children.

In July 2023, we co-hosting a workshop on children's life planning titled "Take Your Time, Embarking on Life Together." The activity will be conducted in three stages: volunteer-guided planning training, workshops, and one-on-one follow-up meetings. The workshop aims to not only guide students in contemplating their future and planning their career paths but also to help the participating volunteer colleagues understand themselves better and discover their own talents.

In addition, we have collaborated to organize two volunteer activities related to time and STEM: " Time in Space - STEAM Mission Game Day" and "“Make the Time, Share the Joy" - Micro-bit StopWatch." Two volunteer activities related to time and STEM were organized, allowing students to learn observation skills and experience the wonders of time together. We encouraged them to embrace the joy of childhood and share the experience of time. Take Your Time.
