Founded by Mr. Ulysse Nardin in 1846, the company owes its reputation to its links with the sea: its onboard marine chronometers are among the most award-winning and reliable ever designed. A pioneer in innovative technologies and the use of high-tech materials such as silicium, Ulysse Nardin is one of the few integrated manufactures with the in-house expertise to produce its own high-precision components and movements. In 2001, the Maison changed the face of contemporary watchmaking by launching the first Freak.

FREAK ONE

The Freak ONE is inspired by the first Freak featuring its three signature characteristics: no dial, no hands and no crown. It’s regulated by a silicon hairspring introduced in 2008 and an escapement treated with DIAMonSIL, a trailblazing synthetic diamond and silicon plasma surfacing treatment first applied to the Freak in 2007 that makes the movement abrasion and shock-resistant.

The Freak ONE also synthesizes the visual dynamics of previous generations of the Freak, from the notched bezel of the original 2001 Freak, to the open gear train of the Freak Cruiser of 2013, to the legibility codes of the 2018 Freak Vision. The black DLC-coated titanium and rose gold detailing echoes recent Freak S iterations.

Diver X Skeleton

A perfect blend of technical fine watchmaking and sports watches, the Diver X Skeleton has made an impressive entry into the Ulysse Nardin Manufacture’s Diver collection. Encased in titanium, its streamlined silhouette is cloaked in white. Audacity, technicality, power and explosive energy characterize this model, which is utterly unique in the world of watchmaking.

Diver NET Azur

Ulysse Nardin’s affinity for the marine world dates back to 1846 and the Manufacture’s first marine chronometers. The Ocean itself is now in danger, and its survival depends on the sustainable management of environmental resources. From an aesthetic point of view, touches of azure blue contrast with the anthracite shades of the Diver Net. But, most importantly, the Manufacture has succeeded in using raw and recycled materials responsibly without compromising on the excellence expected of Haute Horlogerie.
