Gentlemen's Bowtie Club Kick Off

The public is cordially invited to experience the spirit of “There is a Gentleman in Every Man” at the Gentlemen’s Bow Tie Club at Hysan Place, Causeway Bay, from 1st October to 9th October.

To announce the opening of this pop-up teaser for the sensational Oriental Watch Sha Tin Trophy Gentlemen’s Bow Tie Raceday 2022 to be held on 16th October advocating gentlemen’s virtue and culture, the well-acclaimed singer-songwriter Mr. Jay Fung and the talented rising star Mr. ANSONBEAN were invited to join hands with Mr. Dennis Yeung, Managing Director of Oriental Watch Company, Mr. Alain Lam, Executive Director of Oriental Watch Company, Mr. Kenneth Chan, Chief Operation Officer of Oriental Watch Company, Mr. William Nader, Director of Racing Product, Marketing and Sponsorship of the Hong Kong Jockey Club, and Ms Hanane Sabri, Head of Racing Marketing of the Hong Kong Jockey Club in officiating the kick-off ceremony.

To commence the kick-off ceremony, Mr. Jay Fung and Mr. ANSONBEAN shared their views on gentlemen’s attributes using music as a metaphor, echoing the theme of this year’s promotional video in which the two Oriental Gentlemen have starred in. While music, though may come in different styles, resonate with all, similarly, gentlemen who come in versatile styles – from decent and elegant to lively and vibrant, are charming in their own ways.

In order to thank Mr. Jay Fung and Mr. ANSONBEAN for their support, Mr. Dennis Yeung, Managing Director of Oriental Watch Company, presented an exquisite bow tie to each of them, wishing them great success and achievements in their career. The ceremony was concluded by a group photo of Mr. Jay Fung, Mr. ANSONBEAN, Mr. Dennis Yeung, Mr. Alain Lam, Mr. Kenneth Chan, Mr. William Nader and Ms Hanane Sabri, followed by a trial session at different activity areas at the Gentlemen’s Bow Tie Club by Mr. Jay Fung and Mr. ANSONBEAN.

Among the numerous photo spots available at the Gentlemen’s Bow Tie Club, the Bow Tie Walk 3D photo backdrop illustrates the streets of Europe, making it a must-visit destination for chic photos.

The Gentlemen Bow Tie Wardrobe features a gentleman’s wardrobe setting, showcasing bespoke suits designed by reputable fashion designers Mr. Andy Cheung and Mr. Kenny Chiu, unique bow ties and jockey outfits.

The Gentlemen Bow Tie Cafe is decorated with tableware, chairs, tables and picture frames in black-and-white comic style, perfect for taking cool and stylish photos.

The Gentlemen’s Bow Tie Club also offers a variety of by-invitation-only workshops covering Japanese whisky tasting, calligraphy and hand lettering, bespoke suit tailoring, photography, and watchmaking.

Echoing the theme of music and gentlemen, sensational busking performances featuring buskers dressed up in stylish attires will also be staged to present the allure of talented gentlemen.

Mr. Jay Fung remarks, “There is a Gentleman in Every Man! The virtue of a gentleman goes beyond his demeanor and is also manifested in his attributes. Living his life to the full, a gentleman always gives his best in terms of discipline, dedication and persistence in building his career, and is humble, polite, honest and reliable at all times.”

Mr. ANSONBEAN remarks, “Transcending from the traditional image, gentlemen can be energetic and vibrant too! Devoted to achieving their life goals, gentlemen naturally display their charisma with passion and audacity.

Mr. Dennis Yeung remarks, “We take pleasure in joining hands with the Hong Kong Jockey Club again to present the Oriental Watch Sha Tin Trophy Gentlemen’s Bow Tie Raceday, and we are particularly honoured to have the talented Mr. Jay Fung and Mr. ANSONBEAN as Oriental Gentlemen to showcase the gentle and lively facets of gentlemen. We cordially invite the public to visit the Gentlemen’s Bow Tie Club here at Hysan Place to explore and experience the spirit of ‘There is a Gentleman in Every Man’.”
